Mahrukh Siddiqui is a Pakistani-American freelance journalist and photographer who specializes in the intersection of geopolitics and diasporic communities. Raised in California, she is a first-generation American born to Pakistani immigrants who moved to the US to give their families better lives. Having personal impacts to the effects of diasporas and geopolitical issues she graduated from CSU- Sacramento. Majoring in journalism she honors both sides of her family legacy; her father’s side of photographers and videographers and her mother’s side of university professors.
